Analyst Has Bold Prediction For Packers Jordan Love In 2024
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The first season of the Jordan Love era for the Green Bay Packers was a very successful one. After a rough patch out of the gate, he took his performance to another level, which led to plenty of team success.

Jordan Love finished his first season as a starter completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns compared to only 11 interceptions. He also added 247 yards and four more scores on the ground.

The Packers finished the regular season 9-8, earning the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. They defeated the Dallas Cowboys in blowout fashion before being defeated by the San Francisco 49ers.

What can we expect to see as an encore in Year 2? In the opinion of Rob Demovsky of ESPN, we are going to see even bigger things in 2024. His bold prediction for the campaign is that Jordan Love will be in the MVP race this upcoming season.

“Love will put himself in the MVP conversation, in part because more often than not he will outduel the likes of Jalen Hurts, Matthew Stafford, C.J. Stroud, Brock Purdy, Tua Tagovailoa, Jared Goff and Caleb Williams in many of those head-to-head battles,” Demovsky wrote.

The Packers have a pretty challenging schedule this season. Their schedule is tied for fourth hardest as their opponents had a .526 win percentage last season. That is a lot of talented quarterbacks to have to face off against, but they have a star in the making of their own with Jordan Love.

Where he can really build his case is around the holidays. After their bye in Week 10, the Packers have a brutal stretch. Week 11 they face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears for the first time. After that, a gauntlet ensues.

Week 12 is against the 49ers before four straight prime-time and stand-alone games. The Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving is followed by another Thursday Night Football matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Sunday night football against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 is followed by Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. If the Packers and Jordan Love can navigate that successfully, some accolades will be coming his way.
